Once a horse stable block, The Stables has been recently converted into a pet friendly and environmentally friendly two bedroom holiday let set in the National Forest near Yoxall in Staffordshire. Nestled on a smallholding, and with a 1 acre garden, it’s a wonderful base for exploring the local area.
The Stables was built with the environment in mind. There is no grid electricity as the power is provided by solar panels. Rainwater is collected and used for the animals on the smallholding. Sustainable wood is used in the log burner and hot water is provided by LPG gas (a by product from the oil industry).
The Stables is located in Hadley End in the heart of Staffordshire so there is no shortage of things to see and do in the vicinity. It’s set within the National Forest, and is just a short drive to the Peak District and Cannock Chase. There are lots of walking paths and trails directly from your door. The nearby village of Yoxall has an array of amenities. Also nearby are historic estates such as Chatsworth House, Shugborough Hall and Sudbury Hall.
