General Info

Sleeping up to four guests in two bedrooms, this apartment oozes charm and is superbly situated for exploring the Northumberland coastline and surrounding area.  The apartment is named after the famous ‘Percy the Pelican’, who lived on the banks of the Coquet river in Warkworth in the 1970s.  Fabulous walks in both directions along the coast, great pubs and shops, and vast expanses of golden sand beaches.

The Area Surrounding The Property / Accommodation

Being in the heart of medieval Warkworth village, the apartment is perfectly situated for accessing the amenities of the village, pubs and restaurants, shops, riverbank and castle.  It’s also just a short walk to the vast Warkworth beach.  A 1.5 mile walk along the Coquet estuary and through the harbour will bring you to the friendly fishing port of Amble.  The Harbour is home to a collection of lovely shops and restaurants. The ‘arty’ seaside village of Alnmouth is just 3 miles north, with famous Alnwick, with its world-class Alnwick Garden and Treehouse, perfectly preserved castle, which was ‘Hogwart’s School’ in the Harry Potter films, just 7 miles north.
