Aidan’s Pad is a three bedroom dog friendly holiday house five minutes’ walk from the historic Seahouses harbour in Northumberland. A superb choice for a family holiday on the Northumberland coast, the house is in the heart of all the amenities and close to beaches, coast paths, wildlife cruises and watersports.
Aidan’s Pad is one of four stylish newly developed properties in Seahouses, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in Seahouses, Northumberland. It is a light and bright contemporary property designed to make the most of indoor - outdoor living. It’s both pet and family friendly, with a table tennis table in the garage, and close to the harbour which is the start point for wildlife cruises, snorkeling trips and scuba diving around the Farne Islands.
Seahouses is a superb base for a Northumberland holiday. It sits right on the coast path, with beaches to both the north and south of the house and wonderful walks in every direction. Walk along the stretch to the north end of Seahouses to reach Bamburgh Castle. Visit Alnwick Castle and Garden with its Harry Potter links, take a boat trip out to the famous Farne Islands, or head to Lindisfarne, Warkworth and the Cheviot Hills. Seahouses itself has a wide range of cafes, restaurants and pubs, lots of independent shops and food stores, and several excellent fish and chip places!

Interior Details
The house is single storey and can sleep up to six people in three bedrooms. The hallway (with cupboards for coats and boots) leads to the living room / dining room and on into the kitchen and utility room, with the bathrooms and bedrooms to the left. The main bedroom and the second bedroom both have king sized beds and the main bedroom has an ensuite shower room. The third bedroom has twin beds and there is a separate family bathroom (with shower over). Non-feather bedding and towels are provided (bring your own beach towels). The kitchen is modern and is well equipped with appliances and utensils, including dishwasher, coffee machine and washing machine. There’s a Smart TV in the living area and in both double bedrooms. Wifi throughout and heating / hot water via an air source heat pump.
Exterior Details
The outside area is enclosed - there’s a five bar driveway gate plus a pedestrian gate for access. There’s rattan style seating with a table and some extra chairs for enjoying the outside space. There is parking for four cars. The garage behind the house is home to a table tennis table.
Conditions of Rental
Arrival / departure days are usually Friday or Monday. For anyone with an electric car, there are EV chargers in the main car park opposite the harbour. A welcome pack of essentials is provided. Travel cot and highchair can be provided on request. Up to two well behaved dogs welcome (they must be over 1 year old). Children and dogs must be supervised at all times. Accessibility - the property is on one level; there is a single step at the front and another at the rear of the property. Inside the flooring is flat. The outside area is gravelled so it may be uneven underfoot.
