One-Off Feature
Experience a truly unique stay when you book this exquisite former chapel. Sleeping just two guests, the converted building, which dates back to the 1500s, nestles in glorious estate land, 13 miles from Hereford, not far from the borderlands with Wales. Ideal for couples or a pair of friends, especially those wishing to bring a dog, the handsome, historic building is 6 miles from the beautiful Malvern Hills.

Tear yourselves away from the magnificent views to enter the handsome, stone building that still presents features such as heavy beams, mullion windows and original stonework. Sink back into the sofa armchairs in the lounge after your long walks. Read your books, watch TV or simply soak up the incredible ambience of this characterful retreat. Follow a small staircase down to the kitchen/diner, where you can whip up homecooked meals with the fresh ingredients you have sourced. Dine in here too or out in the sunshine. At the end of each special day at the chapel, climb the steep, open-tread wooden stairs up to the first floor, where your bedroom is situated. With a vaulted ceiling and beams, this lovely room features a king-size bed that can also be set up as 2’6” singles if discussed in advance. There is also an en-suite shower room here. Have breakfast on your private patio on summer mornings and dinner outside on fine nights. Take in the sweeping estate vistas, which include views of the lake. Explore the wider, scenic grounds that include ancient woodland, and unwind in the summer house, which is shared with other guests.

Have a day out in Great Malvern, where you can shop, dine out and see the priory. Venture 10.5 miles to strike out into the Wye Valley, with its many walks and opportunities for canoeing along the river.
