A four bedroom farm cottage on a family owned 700 acre estate in Herefordshire. The cottage looks out onto large open fields and pastures, and has direct access to footpaths and farmland. A great choice of holiday accommodation for friends or family who are looking for a taste of Herefordshire and working farm life.
The cottage is one of several holiday properties set on this 700 acre landholding. Larger groups can book several of the properties. The estate is ideally located for exploring Herefordshire and the surrounding counties; visiting Hay on Wye, Ludlow and the historic cathedral city of Hereford, as well as the beautiful countryside of the Brecon Beacons and Malvern Hills. The estate is also the hoe of British Cassis, a luxury British liqueur. During your stay you are welcome to book a tour to find out where the Cassis journey begun, to tour the winery and of course, to taste the end result!
The house is between Hay-on-Wye and Ludlow, both fantastic towns with much to offer from book shops to award-winning restaurants. The famous Offa’s Dyke path is very close by, as are the rolling Welsh hills, and the cottage is just 2 miles from The Stagg at Titley, a wonderful Michelin starred pub. This is an ideal base for antique hunting in Kington, Leominster and Ludlow and nearby you can play golf, try shooting, go canoeing and go-karting, cycle and horse ride. In the area you will find gardens, houses, castles and farms, as well as an excellent selection of pubs and restaurants. There are endless acres of fields, orchards and woodland for you to explore and there are four excellent walking trails that go round the farm, through the woods, over open countryside and connect with other foot paths (you can even walk to the pub).
