The Cortijo del Sueño ('house of dreams' ) is an original cortijo at the heart of the 8-acre private country estate of Finca El Sueno, tucked away in a protected National Park. Beautifully renovated to a very high standard, it offers space, comfort, seclusion and a wonderful place to relax.

The beautiful 'white village' of Vejer de la Frontera is just 12 minutes by car. Some of the best beaches on the Costa de la Luz are just 20 minutes away by car - the long golden beaches of El Pamar & Canos de Meca up to Conil are particularly good for families in the summer and surfers in the winter. Montenmedio Golf & Country is les than 1km away and within a short drive there are several other excellent courses as well as wide range of activities such as horseriding and quad-biking. There is a wealth of choice for nature lovers too - from whale & dolphin watching to safaris exploring the wonderful National Parks. Interior Details
All four bedrooms have hand-made hardwood furniture and luxury en-suite bathrooms with double-ended baths and showers. There are 2 queen-sized 4 poster beds and 2 pairs of singles which can also form king size beds, all with balcony areas and West views to Vejer. The new fully-fitted kitchen with black granite worktops, has an electric 4-ring hob and separate oven, large fridge and freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer and coffee machine. The main sitting room, with French doors leading to West-facing patio with views to Vejer, is furnished with comfortable sofas & open fireplace. The Snug has a large sofa and armchairs, TV, UK satellite, DVD player, ipod docking station and fireplace. There is also WiFi throughout the house and the estate. The dining room has French doors to the stone patio, with large dining table seating 8 and bar area with fridge/freezer.
Exterior Details
Outside, the shaded patio has Moroccan tables for al-fresco dining with BBQ and sunbeds. The private infinity pool has stunning views West across the new lake and up to Vejer framed by spectacular sunsets. Here you will find a large stone patio with hardwood sunbeds and a shaded pergola, completed by an honesty bar, (with changing & bathroom).

A shared Casitas swimming pool with a large patio, shaded pergola & cabana is set into the gardens in the top half of the estate, while there are two play areas for children up to 12 years. Our prices include complimentary children items, free Wifi, freeview satellite tv, all utilities, a shared Casitas laundry room (the Cortijo has its own washing machine), daily caretaker who will also clean the pools and the final property clean on departure - while the price for a two week booking also includes a light general clean on the middle Saturday morning, with a full change of cotton bedlinen and bathroom towels. Additional housekeeping, catering, shopping service, personal chef, cookery lessons, childminding and bike hire are all available on request.
Conditions of Rental
Rates for this villa in Andalucia include IVA. Once Booking Form is completed, a 50% deposit is required for confirmation - with the balance of 50% is due 3 months before arrival in High & Peak, 2 months in Mid and Regular Seasons. Payment can be made by bank transfer in euros or sterling, or by credit or debit card via a third party website. There is also a refundable security deposit required. Flexible lengths and changeover dates for most of the year, minimum booking period with 14 nights from mid July to end of August (7 nights in Almendra) with a Saturday changeover. Short Breaks available between November to March and last-minute bookings. Arrival time is after 16:00 and departure before 10:00. Please note that we cannot accept pets (apart from working dogs) and the properties are non-smoking - there are also friendly cats on the finca.
