The quiet village of Banastón Usana is a 5 minute drive from Ainsa or a half hour walk along a waymarked path. Ainsa is the main village in the region of Sobrarbe, and there you will find all the sports adventure companies, restaurants, bars, banks, supermarkets, tourist office and the weekly outdoor fruit and veg market on Tuesday morning. Ainsa is located at the crossroads to three areas of outstanding nature beauty: the Ordesa National Park home to Monte Perdido the largest limestone mountain in Europe, the Posets-Maladeta Natural Park home to Aneto and Posets, the first and second highest mountains in the Pyrenees and the Sierra de Guara Natural Park, world renown for its canyoning. All three parks offer an endless array of outdoor activites from one hour strolls along the valley floor to 3000m+ peaks like Posets and Perdido. Alpine wildflowers can be enjoyed all summer long. There are good chances of spotting marmots, deer,griffon vultures, lammergeyer...

Interior Details
Casa Blas, a grand old stone farmhouse dating back to the 17th Century, is situated in the village of Banastón Usana near Aínsa. The entrance hall stands out with its concave stone roof, walls adorned with agricultural artefacts and its original stone recipient for storing olive oil. The first floor is home to a spacious living dining room with wonderful baked earth floor tiles and balcony, a small well equipped kitchen and for those who enjoy taking a step back in time, an authentic Aragonese kitchen with open fireplace, solid wooden benches and a fold down table. Two double rooms are also to be found on this level. The top floor has 4 double rooms with wonderful old decorative floor tiles, a separate bathroom, laundry room and a terrace with parasol, chairs and table for 8.
Exterior Details
Great sunrises and sunsets are not to be missed over the Mediano lake and surrounding countryside from the large terrace on the top floor. Guests are also invited to take a stroll in the terraced garden and to pick aromatic herbs such as thyme, mint and basil for their culinary adventures. There is a shaded area in the garden for summer reading.

Conditions of Rental
We ask for a 25% booking deposit with the remainder payable 30 days prior to rental start. A security deposit of 100 euros is payable on arrival. This is returned on departure.
