One-Off Feature

This former printworks in a charming Peak District village has undergone a stunning architectural transformation to become a supremely luxurious holiday property sleeping up to 30 guests, complete with pizza oven, hot tub, and indoor pool.

General Info

The Old Post Office dates back 200 years.  Formerly a printworks, it has been restored by PARTI architects who have retained its original heritage features, whilst adding contemporary extensions.  The Japanese technique of Yakisugi has been used to enhance the durability of the property, one of the first uses of Yakisugi structural use in Europe.  This is a superb property for family celebrations, friend get togethers, corporate retreats or co-working get togethers.

The Area Surrounding The Property / Accommodation

The house is in the pretty village of Wildboarclough in a green valley in the Peak District National Park.  The Peak District is well known for its rugged dales, dense forest and open plains.  The nearby River Dane offers excellent trout fishing opportunities and cyclists and walkers will be in heaven amongst this landscape.  If you can drag yourself away from the property, there’s lots to explore in the local area.
